Ideal if you are looking to pursue a career in Childcare, this Apprenticeship will allow you to work towards your qualification whilst gaining real classroom experience.
-Understand Children’s Early Years Education and Development-Implementing Early Years Foundation Stage-Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in Early Years Settings-Plan and Provide Effective Teaching and Learning in Early Years Setting-Make accurate
To progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship you will need to hold one of the following*:
- an Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship
- an alternative Level 2 qualification in a related subject area
- practical work experience in the related industry
- Up to five GCSEs grade A*-C – including English and Maths
In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

Workplace observation and portfolio evidence.
An assessor would be allocated to undertake the varying framework components within the work place and would generally visit at least once a month.
You could progress onto the Level 4 Childcare qualification or the Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services.
Upon successful completion of the course you will achieve the overall Apprenticeship Framework for Level 3 Diploma in Children's Learning and Development (Early Years Educator).
