Bricklaying Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College

Course description

This Apprenticeship is ideal if you enjoy, practical hands-on work. The Constrcution sector as a whole is facing a skills shortage, meaning there will be plenty of jobs available for those skilled in their trade!

Course content

Examples of units you may cover include: -Setting out and erecting masonry structures -Moving, handling and storage of materials -Health & Safety -Productive working practices.

Entry requirements

To progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship you will need up to five GCSEs grade D-G, including a grade D in English and Maths*.

In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations (Construction), and a Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying.


Attendance is usually one day per week at college and four days per week in the work place. This will be confirmed with your employer.
