Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - Lift Truck Advanced Apprenticeship at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College
This Advanced Apprenticeship is designed to follow on from the successful completion of the Intermediate apprenticeship. The framework knowledge and skills elements will support you to be competent at diagnosing faults on forklift truck systems.
Examples of units you may cover include: Knowledge of diagnosis and rectification of forklift truck auxiliary electrical faults Knowledge of diagnosis and rectification of forklift truck engine faults Competency in diagnosing and rectifying forklift truck engine faults Knowledge in diagnosis and rectification of forklift truck chassis faults Competency in diagnosing and rectifying truck auxiliary electrical faults Competency in diagnosing and rectifying truck chassis system faults You will study Functional Skills level 2 in English, Mathematics and Information Communication Technology
To progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship you will need up to five GCSEs grade D-G, including a grade D in English and Maths*.
In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.
