Business & Administration Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College
This apprenticeship trains you to play an important support role within a business or organisation. Administrators handle the day-to-day tasks in an office and make sure things run smoothly. This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.
During this twelve month programme you will build a portfolio demonstrating your ability against six core units: Communication in a business environment; Principles of providing administrative services; Principles of business document production and information management; Understand employer organisations; Manage personal performance and development; Develop working relationships with colleagues. In addition, you will choose a selection of optional units which relate closely to your current administrative role.Along with this you will work towards Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT at level 1.
To progress onto a Level 2 Apprenticeship you will need up to five GCSEs grade D-G, including a grade D in English and Maths*.
In order to start an Apprenticeship, you will need to be employed or find an employer who is recruiting an Apprentice.

Assessment is via continual assessment of a portfolio throughout the programme with observations in the workplace. Course completion is expected to be approximately 12 months with full Assessor support and guidance throughout.
Upon completion progression is available onto the Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration
The course is delivered in the workplace, using a flexible delivery method to fit in with work patterns, employee shifts and company requirements. Attendance is required on an eight week block release course at college, one day per week.
