LEVEL 2 EXTENDED DIPLOMA IN BRICKLAYING at Selby College

Course description

Developed in response to the industry’s request for broader training to improve the skills, knowledge and understanding of the future workforce this course provides you with an introduction to Bricklaying.

Course content

The course is aimed at candidates who have completed Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying and wish to continue their studies for a further year to enhance their skills and employability prospects.

Please note: If you have not achieved a Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or Maths you will be required to continue studying these alongside your college course.

Entry requirements

Standard Level 2 entry requirements apply For this course you must have also successfully completed a Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying.

Assessment

90% Coursework, 10% Exam.

Future opportunities

On successful completion you may be able to move on to BTEC Level 3 National Subsidiary Diploma in Construction and Built Environment.
