Early Years Workforce Educator Level 3 at Bury College Apprenticeships

Course description

The content of the course will cover areas to develop the knowledge and skills needed when supporting in an Early Years setting and working with children 0-5 years. An Early Years Educator must know and understand: Child development 0-7, Safeguarding and welfare, Communication and Professional Relationships, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Health and Well-being, Play and Learning, Plan, Observe and Assess Children, Partnership Working, Personal Learning and Thinking skills, Employment Rights and Responsibilities. This course will involve 20% of your time to be dedicated to off the job training.This programme covers a range of mandatory and optional units to develop core skills and knowledge of the health and social care sector. We will work with you to select the most beneficial units for your organisation.

Entry requirements

Initial assessment and diagnostic testing on maths and English will take place prior to commencement of apprenticeship. You may also hold the Level 2 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, the Level 2 Children and Young People's Workforce apprenticeship or have prior experience. This will be individually assessed.
