Course description

This course is a recognised qualification for professionals in the construction industry, which allows you to progress to Higher Education  or employment. The course is ideal for those who aspire to advance their career in the construction industry.

Course content

  • Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Assessment

The course is mainly classroom-based with some practical work in surveying buildings and land. Coursework will be assessed throughout the course.

Financial information

All full-time courses are free to 16-18 year olds who are an EU citizen.

Future opportunities

You could progress to university, a HNC in Construction or a Higher Apprenticeship in Professional  Construction. Employment opportunities within the industry incude architecture and design, construction management, surveying, engineering, health and safety, or planning
