Creative Careers Level 1 at Access Creative College

Course description

A one-year introductory course for anyone wanting to get into working in the creative industries. You will gain vital employability and work skills relevant to creative businesses, with the chance to specialise in games, music or media.

Creative Careers is for anyone who is looking to work in the creative industries and needs to gain the core skills to progress on to further study or work. You must be aged 16-18 and not have any qualifications higher than Level 1 (GCSE grades 3 and below).

Course content

GET TO GRIPS WITH I.T. Develop your skills using computers and social media to boost your profile.

UNDERSTAND CREATIVE CAREERS Find out how the creative industries work and the types of jobs that are available.

DEVELOP A PRODUCT/ ENTERPRISE IDEA Produce ideas for developing a creative product or business from music to games and media.

ENHANCE YOUR EMPLOYABILITY Gain self-management skills and strategies for success.

Entry requirements

We value your creative passion and commitment to develop above all else. As stated above, you must be aged 16-18 and not have any qualifications higher than Level 1 (GCSE grades 3 and below).
