Music Production Level 3 at Access Creative College

Course description

If you are a producer who wants to develop skills for university or professional work, then this is the course for you. You will gain in-depth skills in all areas of composing music using hardware and software with the option to DJ your work at live events.

Course content

IMPROVE YOUR MUSICIANSHIP Develop your understanding of how music works.

WRITE & REMIX SONGS Master the art of creating tracks using DAWs and remix tunes by other artists, working in fully equipped Apple Mac tech suites using Logic

DJ YOUR MUSIC Explore the option to DJ your music at live events.

DEVELOP BUSINESS SKILLS Get the skills to promote yourself and your music within the industry.

Entry requirements

We value your creative passion and skills above all else. However, you will need to demonstrate that you are able to work at Level 3 (A Level standard) and we will take your actual, or predicted, grades into account.

Course work.

Financial information

FREE for 16-18s.

Future opportunities

You will achieve a Level 3 RSL Music Practitioners Extended Diploma which can lead on to a creative degree, or our Artist Development course. Completion of both years of the course can generate up to 168 UCAS points, or the equivalent of three A* grades at A Level. You may also go straight into employment in the creative industries.
