Digital Media Level 2 at Access Creative College

Course description

This course is perfect if you are looking for an introduction to digital media skills. You will create a wide portfolio, from graphic design and illustration, through digital photography and video production, to written content. You will work towards a final major project where you will develop assets for a digital media application.

Course content

PRODUCE VIDEO Begin using DSLR cameras to create moving images and edit and produce them using Adobe Premiere.

SHOOT DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS Develop a first portfolio of eye-catching images with DSLR cameras and image manipulation using Adobe Photoshop.

CREATE ANIMATIONS Create basic animated sequences for web applications using Adobe Animate.

DESIGN FOR WEB & PRINT Design artwork and layouts for applications and products using Adobe InDesign.

WRITE CONTENT Create exciting content for web, social media, vlogs and blogs. , ,

Entry requirements

We value your creative passion and skills above all else. However, you will need to demonstrate that you are able to work at Level 2 (GCSE standard) and we will take your actual, or predicted, grades into account.

Course work.

Financial information

FREE for 16-18s.

Further information

You will achieve a Level 2 BTEC Creative Digital Media Production Diploma which can lead to further skills development on Level 3 media and games courses.
