Course content

'You will cover a wide range of topics that cover all aspects of F&B service supervision. You will develop and practise leadership and supervisory skills in a practical environment incorporating leading a team to complete the design, planning and smooth operation of special events. Units will include Supervising Service, Promoting Products, Supervising Hospitality Events and Prepare and Serve Alcoholic Beverages and developing table theatre skills.

Entry requirements

'You will normally need to have at least one of the following:Level 2 VRQ Food and Beverage Service Other Relevant Level 2 qualificationRelevant Food and Beverage Experience

Future opportunities

'On completion your choice of pathways includes opportunities in supervisory positions based in hotels, restaurants, licensed trade, events, cruise liners, contract catering, and the Forces. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to progress onto appropriate management qualifications
