Course description

The Extended Certificate or Diploma in Art and Design provides you with the theory, technical skills and experience in a wide range of media and processes. The course helps you to develop independence as well as criticality and creativity; skills which are beneficial to a range of endeavours.

Art & Design SUPPORT FROM OXFORD UNITED Oxford United Community Trust is always in need of new and exciting ways to market what we do to a huge variety of different people, across all of our programmes. This results in a large amount of graphic and web design working needing to be done. With this in mind, Oxford United Community Trust will act as a client to some students with an interest in going into these professions. You will be given the opportunity to create marketing material and website pages that will be published and used, enabling you to create a portfolio of work to show future employers. We will also link you with businesses we currently work with who can provide support and guidance with the potential to lead to apprenticeships or employment opportunities.
