Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Accountancy at Henley College Coventry

Course description

An Apprenticeship enables you to learn on the job and earn while your studying for your qualifications. As an accountancy apprentice you will be able to pursue a career in accountancy.

You will study :

  • Accounts production 1 and 2
  • Costs and revenues
  • Indirect taxes
  • Cash management
  • Spreadsheet software
  • Professional ethics in accounting and finance (If not studied at level 2)
  • Functional Skills (If not exempt or completed at level 2)
  • Employee rights and responsibilities (If not completed at level 2

You will be assessed by a  combination of examinations and online projects. Apprentices have employed status; however if you do not have a job we may be able to help you find one.

Having completed the two years of your apprenticeship you may continue to study for the level 4 and following the level 4 you could proceed to a higher qualification in the accountancy field or gain exemptions from some elements of a degree course.

Entry requirements

NVQ Level 2 accountancy with Maths & English GCSEs grade A-C, a positive school report and a successful interview with an admissions tutor.
