Plastering Diploma Level 2 at Bradford College

Course description

This Level 2 course allows you to develop and practise the basic skills and knowledge gained from Level 1 required for employment and/or career progression in Plastering.

Course content

The course covers the following:

  • Apply Plastering Materials to Interiors
  • Fix Dry Lining and Plasterboards to Interiors
  • Lay Sand and Cement Screeds
  • Apply Plastering Materials to External Backgrounds.

You will also continue to develop and study principles of building construction, information and communication.

Entry requirements

Level 1 Diploma in Plastering or an equivalent. Previous experience in the trade will also be considered by attending an interview.

If you do not hold a Grade A*-C/8/9-4 in Mathematics or English you will study these subjects as part of your course. If you have a Grade D/3 or Level 2 Functional Skill you will work towards achieving a Grade A*-C/8/9-4.

 

Assessment

The course is assessed by continuous practical assessments, knowledge based assessments for each unit and an on-line exam.
