Assessment

We internally assess throughout the course by regular testing and past papers to monitor and inform students of their progression.

Future opportunities

Mathematics is one of the most traditional subjects, a good grade in mathematics is a key to open many avenues of degree courses and future career aspirations.

The skills and techniques developed in the course provide an excellent foundation in order to study physics, psychology, economics, computing and business. Mathematics is very often a requirement in order to study these subjects at university.

Statistics is used in many areas of industry and society from medicine, marketing and media through to finance and engineering. A level mathematics broadens the field of future career possibilities.
