Course description

This in-depth study of sport and exercise sciences comprises a range of units including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, fitness testing, nutrition and sports massage.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C or above including English and maths at grade 4 or above.

Future opportunities

The course has many progression opportunities depending on the pathway you choose to take, helping you move onto a higher education course, train to be a PE teacher or take up a variety of careers in either fitness and therapy, football development or health and nutrition (including new careers in public health to prevent chronic illnesses).
