Level 3 in Engineering at MidKent College

Course description

This level 3 course is designed to help you gain immediate employment in engineering or to progress to higher education.The course will also help prepare you for working life by teaching you a range of skills designed to improve your overall performance.Using the very latest technology, including our fantastic new virtual welder, you can be sure of receiving the best possible start to your engineering career.You will learn about the principles, techniques and equipment used in various aspects of several engineering disciplines including electrical, electronic and mechanical.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C or above including English and maths at grade 4 or above.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of the course can open the door to a wide variety of employment opportunities, for example as an electrical engineer, electronics engineer, engineering technician, technical support person and lots more. Alternatively you may progress to a higher education course at the College or university or an advanced apprenticeship.
