Level 2 in Performing Arts at MidKent College
Embark on an exciting journey towards the bright lights of a West End stage by enrolling on the level 2 Extended Certificate in Performing Arts.This course will enable you to learn skills across a broad range of singing, dancing and acting roles, expanding your knowledge of the skills and opportunities that exist in the performing arts industry. It will also develop your appreciation of the history and context of live performances and backstage work.
Four GCSEs at grade D or above including English or maths at grade 3 or above.
Many of our students progress on to level 3 to give themselves a better chance of entering this highly competitive industry.Careers within acting and musical theatre not only include acting for stage and screen but also directing, scriptwriting, teaching and lots more.Careers in dance are varied but can include becoming a professional dancer, singer, choreographer, dance therapist, community dance worker and more.
