Level 3 in Photography at MidKent College

Course description

This course covers all aspects of Photography - from studio and location photography to digital manipulation using Photoshop.You will develop your understanding of the equipment; processes and technology utilised in this dynamic industry, and will have the opportunity to develop specialisms in fine art, advertising and fashion. This course is ideally suited for those who wish to pursue a career in the photography and have a drive and commitment to stretch their understanding of the area.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C or above including English and maths at grade 4 or above.

Future opportunities

This qualification is recognised by the industry and, when coupled with practical experience, may lead to careers in photography as an assistant / junior / technician / photographer. Successful completion of the course may also enable you to progress to a relevant university programme.
