Can you swim 50 metres fully clothed?Why not train as Cabin Crew with MidKent College.Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a high-flying career in the travel industry when you enrol on this unique Air Cabin Crew course.The Maidstone Campus is home to a replica air cabin - complete with overhead lockers, tannoy system and reclinable seats - to ensure you receive the very best and most realistic learning experience.Units covered on the course will include health, safety and security, airline emergency procedures, preparing for employment and more.

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at grade D or above including English or maths at grade 3 or above.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of the course can lead to immediate employment with an air cabin crew. Former students have gone on to secure jobs with the likes of Emirates, easyJet, British Airways and Virgin.

    • Set in the Oakwood Park complex, MidKent College's Maidstone Campus provides a pleasant learning environment for students. The site houses a range of quality workshops – including those for Bricklaying, Carpentry, Motor Vehicle and Welding – as well as a large learning resource centre, refectory and welcoming social zone.

      In 2012 major redevelopment work costing a total of £25 million started at the Maidstone Campus, with new state-of-the-art facilities expected to be open by December 2013.

      As part of the rebuild MidKent College has purchased the University for the Creative Arts' Maidstone campus, which is also based at Oakwood Park and now houses the majority of the College's higher education courses.
