Drama and Theatre Studies AS Level at Wheatley Park School

Course description

We aim to provide a curriculum which will ignite and engage your creativity and  passion and include your own interests. We provide opportunities to interrogate drama and the work of others, to explore a range of drama as a practical art form, and for you to work independently to create your own drama, making informed artistic choices. We study  relevant and contemporary theatre, this includes regular visits to a variety of live performances.

We aim to promote independence, critical thinking and decision-making – all personal attributes that can help you stand out as you  progress through your education and into employment.
