About this Course


In the world we now live in, everything we touch is digital, information we receive is digital, it is no surprise that digital marketing and social media for business has become massive. 

The use of digital media is to attract and engage with current and potential customers, for example online advertising, email marketing, social media campaigns, and search engine optimisation.

Course content

What will I study?

  • Social media advertising and promotion
  • Principles of social media within a business
  • Mobile social media for a business
  • Website creation and optimisation
  • Social media marketing within a business
  • Images, video and website software
  • Competence and knowledge aspects, with pathways including IT, marketing and a generic pathway
  • You will also be require to study maths and English where a GCSE C grade has not been achieved

Entry requirements

What are the entry requirements?

  • Four GCSEs grade C and above (preferably English and maths)
  • A relevant Level 2 qualification at Merit or above
  • An Intermediate Apprenticeship
