Course description

Do you enjoy GCSE Spanish? Do you have a passion for languages? This course will appeal to those who are keen to develop their language skills as well as those who are interested in deepening their understanding of themes relating to the society and culture of Spanishspeaking countries

The New AS and A-level AQA specification builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills gained at GCSE. It constitutes an integrated study with a focus on language, culture and society. It fosters a range of transferable skills, including communication, critical thinking, research skills and creativity, which are valuable to the individual and the society. Students must also study one film and two literary texts from a prescribed list. The language assistant will also play an indispensable part in helping students improve their speaking

Entry requirements

Grade A at GCSE Spanish. Students will also need to have strong skills in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
