Level 3 Engineering is a new inspiring rigorous and practical subject that will allow students to move on to either university or to an apprenticeship at the end of the course.

Entry requirements

Grade 4 in GCSE Engineering or Merit at Level 2 BTEC Engineering. At least Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics and Grade 4 in GCSE Science.

Assessment

The course consists of four units, all of which have to be successfully passed to achieve a qualification.

Further information

As well as the end of course exam, the course contains a substantial amount of coursework and is only suitable for students who can sustain dedication and self-motivation throughout a two year period.
