Course description

Our Business Support course fully prepares you for working in a business environment as an administrator. Our courses will equip you with the essential administrative skills required to gain employment. You will learn how to produce a range of professional documents using Microsoft Office software, develop skills in planning and prioritising, working as part of a team and enhancing your communication skills, all of which are necessary for a career in the modern working environment.


Course content

Students learn about theoretical and practical business administration subjects such as personal responsibilities and working in a business environment, providing administrative services, managing information and producing documents, supporting business events and the delivery of effective customer service. Assignments are completed for these subjects.

In addition, students also study subjects such as spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-publications and integrated documents. Assignments are also completed for these subjects. Students are also given the opportunity to learn skills such as touchtyping, text production, word processing, audio typing and mail merge.
