Maintenance Engineering - Levels 2 and 3 Apprenticeship at Bradford College

Course description

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training.

Maintenance engineering apprentices maintain and repair machinery, equipment and systems within the manufacturing/production industry. This apprenticeship combines mechanical and electrical/electronic engineering disciplines.

Course content

Typical tasks:

  • Planned routine maintenance
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis
  • Modifying or re-writing electrical circuits.

You will be required to study on a day release basis.

Entry requirements

Level 2:

GCSE English and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade C/4 or Entry 3 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB.

Level 3:

GCSE English and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade C/4 or Level 1 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB.
