Course description

Created in partnership with this amazing brand, you will take live briefs and benefit from industry expert input on the design and development of your assignments and projects.We have developed a wide range of units to give you a broad overview of computing and the digital world. You will experience business application of social media, software design and development projects and website development. You will also learn about the principle of computer science and let your creativity flow with digital graphics and animation. This course will help you on your journey to an amazing career or continue on to higher education.

Financial information

This course has been designed to provide you with various assessment opportunities to stretch and challenges your abilities. This is done through various assessment which are:- 2 externally set and assessed exams- 2 externally set and assessed projects- 9 internally set and assessed units.

      Local area

      Northenden is a suburb of south Manchester. There are shops, a supermarket, restaurants and takeaways 15 minutes’ walk from the campus in central Northenden. There are also a small supermarket and shops closer to the campus. Northenden is surrounded by green space. The campus is minutes away from Gib Lane Wood and Wythenshawe Park which includes a community farm. It is also close to the Mersey Valley nature reserve; a riverside walk through miles of countryside and parkland.
