Course description

The following subjects will be included in this qualification: - Schools as Organisations - Support Learning Activities - Support Assessment for learning - Support literacy and numeracy development - Functional Skills at Level 2 in English and Mathematics - Employees Rights and Responsibilities - Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Course content

You must be employed in a school as a Teaching Assistant or equivalent.

Entry requirements

Employed with a job role which includes the subjects you will be studying. Achieve 50% or higher in BKSB diagnostics at Level 2 in English and Mathematics.

Assessment

- Exams in Functional skills (If you do not already hold a Grade A*-C in English and Maths at GCSE) - Some attendance at Workshops - Assessment in the workplace
