Intermediate Apprenticeship for the Children and Young People's Workforce at Acacia Training & Development Ltd
Acacia Training often offers learners additional courses that are either optional extras as part of an Apprenticeship or to help build knowledge towards the QCF Certificate as required. The mandatory units are: Introduction to communication in children and young people\'s settings Introduction to personal development in children and young people\'s settings Safeguarding the welfare of young people
The level 2 QCF Certificate is suitable for you if you work as a nursery assistant, creshe worker or special educational needs assistant in a supporting role
There are no formal entry requirements but you must be able to demonstrate your competence in a real working environment
This QCF Certificate is assessed in your own workplace and you will be allocated an Assessor who will visit you to carry out observations of your work and help you to identify relevant evidence of your competence in work
The Skills Funding Agency requires Acacia Training to choose Apprenticeship funding over any other form of funding where there is a choice. The Apprenticeship is now available for all ages (subject to eligibility) and is made up of a framework of the QCF Certificate, Functional Skills, and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. The Employment Rights and responsibilities Workbook is a unit within the QCF certificate.
To access this funding via Acacia Training, applicants must be working under contract of employment with a local employer in the South West Region.
