Core Units consist of: Contribute to Workplace Good Housekeeping; Ensure Your Own Actions Reduce Risks to Health & Safety; Maintain Positive Working Relationships. Specialist Units consist of: Diagnose and Rectify Vehicle Engine System and Component Faults; Diagnose and Rectify Vehicle Chassis System and Component Faults; Diagnose and Rectify Auxiliary Equipment Electrical Faults;Identify and Agree Customer Vehicle Needs. Additional study of Tutorial and Functional Skills.

Entry requirements

You must have a valid level 2 motor vehicle qualification and ideally work within the motor vehicle maintenance and repair sector.

Financial information

Students will be expected to provide their own overalls, safety shoes and contribute to the cost of any additional enrichment activities. If you are aged 19 or over materials fees of £40 are payable on enrolment.
