Creative Media Production Level 3 (Games Development) BTEC Subsidiary Diploma at Newham College of Further Education

Course description

The course involves studying 3D Modelling, 3D Animation, 3D Environments, Computer Game Design, Computer Game Story Development and much more. In addition you will undertake supported independent study and meet regularly with your Academic Progress Advisor. Your work will be assessed throughout the course by written, practical and group based assignments.

Entry requirements

You will need one of the following qualifications in order to enrol 5 GCSE passes at grades A*-C with English and Maths at grade C Key Skills in applied communications and applied numeracy at level 2 Overseas equivalent - determined by qualified guidance staff within admissions. Level 2 courses with Key Skills in applied communications and applied numeracy. BTEC First Diploma in Media Production (Games Development) NOCN progression Diploma at level 2 including the National Basic Skills Test A prerequisite professional qualification

Future opportunities

You will be able to progress to the Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production (Games Development) course on successful completion of this qualification.
