Physics OCR Advanced GCE at Chiswick School
A level Physics consists of 6 modules combined with a practical endorsement; The modules studied are: Develoment of practical skills, Foundations of physics, Forces and motion, Electrons, waves and photons, Newtonian world and astrophysics and Particles and medical physics.
5 A*-C grades including 4 or 5 in Maths and English Language if part of a Mixed Pathway or 8 A*-C including 4 or 5 in Maths and English Language if part of a A Level Pathway. B grade or grade 6 in the A level chosen to study.
Physics provides the foundation for degree courses in all areas of Engineering and Physical Science. Career opportunities are excellent and Physics, Chemistry and Biology is the most common combination of subjects for Medicine and Dentistry.
