Spanish A Level at Archbishop Beck Catholic Sports College

Course description

Spanish is a challenging and rigorous A Level course which builds on the GCSE. Topics studied are similar to GCSE although they go into much more interesting detail; leisure and lifestyles - including tourism and travel, sport, hobbies, entertainment, customs, traditions and healthy/unhealthy living; the individual and society - including relationships and responsibilities, gender issues, youth culture and education, vocational training and future careers. 

Entry requirements

5 GCSE A*-C grades (or equivalent) B in spanish required. 

Future opportunities

Employers and universities value highly an A Level in spanish as it shows commitment to a demanding, academic course. Pupils who achieve in languages have excellent presentation skills. Employement opportunities are endless from the world of travel and tourism to journalism and business.
