Air Cabin Crew Level 2 Diploma at Warwickshire College Group

Course description

The Cabin Crew qualification provides training and a better chance of gaining employment in this very exciting and growing industry.  It shows the airline that you understand the role of the crew member and can already perform many of the duties involved.  It provides an opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and understanding of the industry.

Course content

  • Introduction to Airline and Aviation Operations
  • Airline Health, Safety and Security
  • Airline Emergency Procedures
  • Crew Room Duties
  • Role of Cabin Crew on board the Aircraft
  • Preparation for Employment

You will also be required to study English and Maths if you do not already have a C grade at GCSE in these subjects.

Entry requirements

At least 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or D and above, or a Merit or above in a Level 1 Foundation Diploma. 

Assessment

Assessments include some written assignments tasks, short tests, observations and a portfolio of evidence to cover course work.

Methods of study will take many different forms including:

  • Lectures
  • Simulations
  • Visits/Residential
  • Group Work
  • Practical Exercises

Future opportunities

Cabin crew and alternative but related careers are available within other transport sectors eg rail, bus and sea where, increasely, they are seeking persons with similar skills to air cabin crew.
