Hospitality Supervision & Leadership Level 3 at Harlow College
This is a practical programme that helps you to develop your knowledge and skills to supervise the service of food and drinks. Develop working relationships, control resources, manage the receipt, storage of goods and contribute to development of the wine list and handling payments.

You will be introduced to new and exciting skills delivered by tutors who have been professional caterers with a wealth of industrial experience behind them.
You will have the opportunity to work in our training restaurant serving the public and have the chance to participate in various functions.
The Catering and Hospitality team were recognised for their achievement and student support by being awarded and outstanding by OFSTED on their last visit to the college.
You will complete a total of 37 credits, 23 credits are mandatory and 14 optional units. The mandatory units include: support for team members, developing relationships with colleagues, contribute to the control of resources, maintain health, hygiene, safety and security, lead a team to improve customer services. Examples of optional units include: supervise functions, wine store and handling payments. These need to be included as part of your qualification and all units chosen will be based upon your career requirements together with the knowledge and skills you already have in place.
NVQ 2 Diploma in Food and Beverage Service or equivalent level 2 qualification.
