Equine Apprenticeship Advanced Level at Guildford College
The course is suitable for students wishing to progress from a Level 2 qualification with a supervisory career within the equine industry.You could be working towards becoming a trek leader, riding instructor or a performance rider.
The course aims to provide a high standard of yard-based training.
You should have completed the Equine Apprenticeship, NVQ 2 Horse Care or 4 GCSEs grades A-C, including Maths and English.
You must be employed full-time in a suitable equine position.
Delivered in the workplace around work commitments.
Assessment is through practical observation, portfolio evidence and oral/written questions.
A college tutor will meet you, monitor progress on a regular basis and conduct assessments in your workplace.
Equine Management HND at the College or more advanced posts in the equine industry.
