R.E. at Rainhill Sixth Form
Religious Studies is for students who value open-minded debate and are serious about developing independence of thought and essay writing technique. The syllabus brings a broader variety of exciting and dynamic topics linking religious belief to many other subjects including Science and English. The units we study are philosophy and contemporary society. The course enables students to think and argue about the literal and the abstract from ethical, phenomenological and philosophical perspectives.
Minimum 5 GCSE's at Grade C including English Language at Grade C.
