Performing Arts Dance BTEC Certificate and Subsidiary Diploma Level 3 at Rye Studio School

Course description

This vocational dance-training course will help you to build your skills in a range of different dance styles. The course will cover a wide range of different dance performance opportunities and experiences. The course is physically demanding and is suitable for those committed to improving their dance skills through rigorous training activities. You will be assessed throughout the course, based on your class work and/or coursework and not through formal exams.

Entry requirements

In addition to 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A*-C, you must demonstrate an ability and commitment to dance training. You will have achieved a Grade C or above in GCSE dance or grade five in private dance school examinations. You will also be required to attend a practical workshop, which will allow you to demonstrate your skills in performance.
