Interior Design BTEC Level 2 Award at Sutton College of Learning for Adults - SCOLA

Course description

You will learn the following skills: How to work to a Design Brief How to develop a range of Ideas for Interior Design Schemes, using colour, texture, lighting, placement of furniture etc How to visualise your ideas in 2D drawings and 3D models How to present your work to a high standard Background knowledge of Design Movements such as Art Deco, Arts and Crafts, Regency etc.

Entry requirements

Learners should be able to show a good visual awareness through eg: photographs of home decoration schemes, drawing or painting, photography, any examples of work that show a feel for colour. Learners must be prepared to carry out a substantial amount of work in their own time, if they wish to achieve the best grades.
