Course description

Information Technology in a Global Society is an IB Diploma subject which is part of the International Baccalaureate Careers-related Program we offer here at Homewood. It can be taken at standard level (roughly AS equivalent) or higher level (roughly A-level equivalent). ITGS covers three strands, these are; • Social and ethical significance in which candidates look at the social and ethical considerations related to IT developments. • Application to specified scenarios where candidates use scenarios to address IT developments in specified themes • IT systems where candidates learn about the terminology, concepts and tools relating to IT developments.
