As an Apprenticeship is a job they each have different entry requirements. To be able to apply for an Apprenticeship you must be ready to start work immediately. This means if you are still in Year 11 you must wait until you have completed school before applying as all vacancies are for immediate starts - just like a real job vacancy. After completing a level 2 Apprenticeship you may be able to progress to the level 3, continue working for your employer, or seek other employment opportunities within the maintenance and repair profession. Following the level 3 Apprenticeship, you may be able to continue working for your employer, or seek other employment opportunities within the maintenance and repair profession. You may also be able to progress to a higher education course in a related subject.
