Cabin Crew (NCFE Level 2) at New College Swindon

Course description

This qualification aims to:

give you the skills required to work effectively as a member of an airline cabin crew
promote good practice in cabin crewing by working towards national standards
provide a basis for further study and motivation towards career development

It is ideal for anyone who wants to work as airline cabin crew or anyone wishing to further their studies in Travel and Tourism.  The qualification prepares you for entry to airline industry training.

Course content

1. Working as cabin crew
2. Airline health, safety and security
3. Aircraft emergency situations
4. Dealing with passengers on board an aircraft
5. Cabin service – selling techniques
6. Making passenger announcements on board an aircraft

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, but you should aim to do as well as possible in your GCSEs.

You need to be able to write English well so should have at least a D at GCSE
