Travel & Tourism BTEC Diploma Level 2 at Fareham College

Course description

This course provides a broad base for a career in travel and tourism, in which you will study a range of topics including investigating travel and tourism, customer service, marketing, and employment.

The course will cover many interesting subjects including; the role of the resort rep, tourism in the UK, tourist attractions in key location such as Bath, London, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, all of which you will have the opportunity to visit yourself.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade D or above.

Financial information

Air cabin crew will need to purchase a uniform, please ask for prices and details.

Future opportunities

Progress to Travel and Tourism BTEC Level 3 or other courses such as the Aviation Operations.

Alternatively, you could seek employment in a junior trainee role in a travel agency, holiday resort, hotel or in a customer service position.

    • All Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing courses run by Fareham College are conducted at our Centre of Excellence in Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training, or CEMAST, campus on the Daedalus airfield in Lee-on-the-Solent.
