Course description

CACHE Level 3 is a cutting-edge qualification that has been developed to meet the needs of today's workforce. Places such as Children's Centres now offer an integrated range of services that cover not only care and education - but also family support, employment support and access to health services. These broader range of services need highly-qualified, multi-disciplined professionals. Industry-respected, the qualification bears the CACHE hallmark of excellence. It covers the development of children from birth right through to aged 16. It is split into three stages the Award/Certificate/Diploma - you can learn in bite-sized chunks and receive acknowledgment of your success as you go.

Entry requirements

Entry to the ACDE is on interview as well as an academic achievement of at least 3 or more GCSE's at grade 'C' or above including English.

Future opportunities

* Work as an Early Years Practitioner, either as an assistant or a manager, in a number of settings * Move into areas such as children's nursing, general nursing and midwifery You can use the Diploma to: * enter university * or continue to study for a Foundation Degree or to achieve Professional Status once you have gained some experience in the workplace
