Course description

What will I study?
Chef Traineeships unlock your potential and prepare you for your future careers by helping you to become ‘work ready’ by providing you with work preparation training, Maths and English and work experience to help you get an Apprenticeship or other job. Successful completion of this course could enable you to progress to a Chef Apprenticeship or a higher level course while also developing your skills in the workplace.

Entry requirements

You must be looking for work in the industry and have a good understanding of English.

Assessment

You will spend two days per week in College studying an Introduction to Hospitality plus functional skills (English and Maths). You will also spend three days per week with an employer in the Hospitality Industry learning practical ‘on the job’ skills and gaining essential work experience.

Future opportunities

Successful completion of this course could enable you to progress to a Chef Apprenticeship or a higher level course while also developing your skills in the workplace.
