Creative Media (Film & TV Production) BTEC Level 3 at Franklin College

Course description

A BTEC in Creative Media will appeal to you if you want to find out about the working practices involved in professional media production. You will take part in planning, researching and creating media and will build a portfolio of work. You will have access to specialist software to develop your skills. You will get the chance to experience the fast-paced environment of the television and film industries by discovering all aspects of the creative process, from planning and researching, to shooting and editing video productions. Projects will include music videos and advertisements.

Entry requirements

Five GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent to include English Language. A passion to take this subject is important; you will be required to work flexibly as part of a team and individually.
