Applied Science with Forensic Science at RSA Academy Arrow Vale

Course description

The BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Applied Science is a vocational qualification. The course is designed to give learners the knowledge, understanding and technical skills to prepare them for employment or to continue their study in higher education.The content is divided up into manageable sized topics allowing the learning of new and existing concepts to be secured before developing the skill application. This style of course will appeal to learners who prefer portfolio-based assessment; students will have to be committed throughout as the grading is through contiuous assessment.

Entry requirements

To allow success in this interesting and challenging course students are required to have an entry of at least a C at GCSE Science or a Distinction in BTEC Science, with the addition of at least a grade C in GCSE Maths.
