Course description

This course takes an issues-based approach to Geography, with emphasis on skills, fieldwork and a holistic understanding of human and physical processes including water and carbon cycles, landscape systems, globalisation and global development.

Entry requirements

Grade B GCSE Geography

Maths (C grade or above) and English (C grade or above) are both required

Assessment

AS Units

  • Unit 1: Dynamic Landscapes (Tectonics, Coasts)
  • Unit 2: Dynamic Places (Globalisation, Regenerating Places)

A2 Units

  • Unit 3: Physical Systems and Sustainability
  • Unit 4: Human Systems and Geopolitics
