Further Mathematics - A Level at St Gregory the Great Catholic School

Course description

AS Further Mathematics (3 modules):
Further Pure 1: Complex numbers, Numerical solutions of equations, Coordinate systems, Matrix algebra, Series and Proof by mathematical induction.
Decision 1: Algorithms, Graphs and networks , Algorithms on networks, Route inspection, Critical path and analysis, Linear programming and Matchings.
Decision 2: Transportation problems, Allocation, The travelling salesman problem, Further linear programming, Game theory, Network flows and Dynamic programming.

Entry requirements

A minimum of six A*-C GCSE passes, preferably including an A in this subject.
