General Religious Education at St Michael's Catholic High School

Course description

Aims of the course:
To know about spirituality, theology and ethics; To understand the demands of religious commitment; to explore questions concerning life, death and morality; to examine their own faith and that of others and to examine the place of religion in modern society.

Course content: To complete the following six units – three in year 12 and year 13
Year 12 – Diversity; Relationships and Justice and Peace
Year 13 – Ethics, Lifestyles and Philosophy.

Entry requirements

C grade or below in RE GCSE.
